Hello, I am Joan, a Korean living in Germany. First of all, thank you for visiting my website. I used to think that the time I spend cooking was wasted, but when I lived in Germany, my surroundings often talked about dishes that my child had eaten in Korea and wished for. This led me to constantly search for and research recipes. There are still many dishes where I fail.

The reason I created this website is so that my child can request my dishes in the future and I want them to remember the recipes I used. This means that only the dishes where my child gives a "thumbs up" and asks for the recipe will be published here.

In Korea, like in many other countries, there are thousands of recipes. These recipes are the ones highly praised by my child. In Germany, there are many ingredients to prepare Korean dishes, but sometimes there are also ingredients that can only be found in Korea. This is the second reason why I decided to start this site – I want to introduce the ingredients I have found that are suitable for Korean cuisine.
